Casey is a very busy girl, in her spare time she runs the Brownies and Rangers unit at Toll Gavel, planning trips, activities and camps. Casey has two pets at home, a Lilo the kitten and Phyllis the seven legged Tarantella. Casey became an Educare team member in October 2017 and has become Buttercups Room leader in January 2020 and loves working here as moral is always good and the children are great to work with.
Sarah joined Educare as a volunteer and did some supply work before joining the team permanently in January 2018 Sarah says "I love working at Educare because everyone is so lovely and caring! I've always wanted to be a Nursery Nurse and Educare is like a second home!. Sarah attended Hull university and has a BAHons in Education and Early Years! In Sarah's spare time she loves walking along Hornsea beach front and taking pictures of the scenery.
Debbie loves listening to music. She will often try and find vinyl records to listen to by hunting through Beverley's charity shops. Debbie also loved to go the the cinema and spending time with her family and friends.
Since joining us in January 2017, Debbie has said that "I love that the entire Nursery has a big family vibe. Everyone gets on really well and seeing the children having fun and enjoying themselves makes my day."
Debbie has a BTEC Level 3 in Children's Play, Learning and Development
Vicki is Educare's Nursery Director. She has worked in all four of the nurseries rooms since joining us in 2007.
She is qualified in childcare to NVQ Level 3 and also holds a Level 2 qualification in team leading.
She said: “All the staff at Educare are extremely kind and caring and will always go the extra mile to ensure happiness and to provide an environment in which the children can thrive.”
Vicki likes to relax by playing netball and she is a member of two teams in the Beverley area.
Amy has recently move to Beverley from Dubai and joined the Educare team in July 2018. Amy Enjoys going shopping with her friends and family and also enjoys the gym and swimming. Amy has a Cache level 1 and 2 in childcare and is working on completing her level 3. Amy has said that everyone at Educare has been very welcoming and that everyone works well as a team to provide the best environment for the children.
Kerry has recently joined the Educare team in our Out of School Club. She is level 2 NVQ qualified in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. Kerry also holds a level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education. Kerry volunteered at Swinemoor Primary and St Johns Primary to gain a variety of experience. Kerry also worked as a teaching assistant at St Nicholas Primary as a one to one and has 6 years experience with Little Gruffalos in the Out of School Club. Kerry loves music, reading and watching films. Kerry said about Educare 'Educare is a calm and caring environment, its very welcoming and the children really do come first'.
Maribel joined us in June 2017 and has a Cache level 2 in Children and Young People's Workforce. Maribel feels that working with the children is rewarding and they are constantly learning through fun activities. Maribel enjoys watching the children grow and develop into their own individual personalities and to help them become confident. When Maribel is at home she enjoys going on long walks with her dog and spending time with her family.
Becky has been at Educare since 2009 and is the Team Leader for the Sunflower Room and Deputy Director. She holds a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education.
She lives locally and knows from her friends around the area that Educare is very popular because of the happy, friendly environment.
Sam spent five years as a nanny before joining the team at Educare during 2012. She is currently the Bluebell Room Leader and is looking forward to this new challenge.
She holds a Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education and is dedicated to helping the children enjoy their time here and learn as they grow.
Sam said: “I want to help the children develop to the best of their ability and I want to make sure they have fun and learn through play.”
When she’s not working Sam enjoys socialising with family and friends.
Donna already had nine years of nursery experience before she joined Educare during 2012.
She is qualified to BTEC National Diploma Level 3 in early years and says Educare helps children and their parents in many ways.
Donna said: “We are a hard-working, friendly team. Educare provides a stimulating environment and there is a lot of interaction with the children.”
Tina worked on planning parties in a bar before joining Educare in 2012 and she does her bit here to make sure everyone has a good time. Since joining us she has worked her way up to become OOSC room leader.
She holds qualifications in safeguarding and health and safety and finds Educare a fun and friendly place.
Tina said: “All of the staff are very friendly and most have families of their own so know exactly how to look after the children. We are always coming up with different ideas and that means there’s always something new happening.”
Away from work Tina enjoys going to the theatre and the cinema and spending time with her own family.
Emma joined the Educare team in 2013 after previously working at a nursery in Driffield, she holds her NVQ level 3 in Childcare.
Being a Mum herself Emma has a good idea of what quality childcare looks like and that is why her daughter attended the nursery until she began school, and now attends the Out of School Club.
Emma believes that the parent's, children and staff work effectively together to make a fun and thriving nursery environment.
