Discovering self-growth to explore and learn together with play-based learning and engaging activities for our two-year-olds.

In our Buttercup room, children not only embrace a more structured routine but also begin developing a deeper sense of self-awareness. Through engaging play stations and interactive activities, we encourage early childhood development among our two-year-olds, promoting the essence of play and social interaction.

Our skilled Buttercup team are attentive and nurturing to the continual growth of key motor and physical skills, tailoring challenging and enjoyable activities that cater to the children’s individual needs.

Our commitment extends beyond the nursery room.

We collaborate with you and your child’s home routine, ensuring smooth transitions as they progress through their developmental milestones. We provide support and guidance, including assistance with toilet training.

Sarah Fairclough

Senior Manager and Team Leader

Mum who with her son, daughter and Doug, her pug, loves to share family days locally and also globally including adventures in the Grand Canyon! When younger her ‘Prince’ surname has been mistaken in the USA as royalty. Sarah is certainly our royalty!

Stacey Walker-Watson

Nursery Practitioner

With her dog Molly, lives on a farm and is a huge animal lover. Volunteer helper at Boys Brigade and loves art and crafts. Level 3 in Childcare and Education.

Toni Sanders

Nursery Practitioner

Married with her toddler son loves walking, movies, enjoying cocktails, fine food, and lots of food with friends and family. CACHE Level 3 in Childcare and Education.

Julie Helyard

Nursery Practitioner

A local Beverley girl with a teenage son. Loves crafting and is known for taggys, nappy cakes and sweet boxes. She has been at Educare for 24 years. BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies Level 3.

Katie Firth

Nursery Assistant

Educare’s very own Mary Berry who loves music, board games and annoying her sisters. Loves a pyjama day with a good movie and a yummy takeaway! Level 2 Health and Safety, First Aider, BTEC Level 3 in horticulture, BTEC Level 2 in Exotic animals.

Donna Wilson

Nursery Practitioner

Our very own Zookeeper with her collection of pets, including Dutch rabbit, Mopsey, lovebirds and cockatiels and Barney and Jasper, the guinea pigs! She loves walking, gardening, baking, reading, colouring, swimming, and music. Has a crush on Ant and Dec! BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies Level 3.
