Daffodil Room (Babies)

This is where your baby starts their Educare journey. For babies from 3 to 14 months the calm and relaxing environment of the Daffodil room provides a caring and safe experience. Each baby has a Key Nursery Nurse Worker  who will provide the best possible care, ensuring that we follow each baby’s own routine including sleeping and feeding times.

As well as interactive play to encourage exploration, we also support your baby to develop sensory skills. This includes a wide range of sensory activities such as gloop, music and movement, feely tubs with different textures in painting, sand and water play. We encourage them to explore their environment in in safe way finding their feet to encourage crawling & walking. We have small group time to develop their social interactions.

Documented Progress

We document your baby’s progress, and individual care routine ensuring that we are fully communicating your baby’s development whilst creating a home/Nursery partnership with you. We link your baby’s individual learning journey to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) recording it in a shared working document. By following individual routines from home we pride ourselves with parent partnership skills. We understand these partnerships help to develop crucial bonds and makes separation a little easier.
